Dr. Neil Parikh is joining DOC as Chief Executive Officer, bringing with him a rare combination of clinical depth, technological fluency, and entrepreneurial range that makes him the right person to carry our “Truth in Medicine” mission forward.
Neil’s career has been on the leading edge of building healthcare that actually works for patients. As Chief Medical Officer at Thirty Madison (now Remedy Meds), he expanded how patients access care, including through asynchronous models that, when done right, can foster more honest conversations between patients and providers than a rushed in-person visit ever could. Before that, he served as President of Oscar Medical Group and Senior Medical Director at Oscar Health, work that earned him a spot on Modern Healthcare’s Innovators List in 2024. He also holds an MBA from Wharton, completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cedars Sinai, and was an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA. His MD comes from the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
Beyond medicine and business, Neil co-founded Amply, an online giving platform supporting nonprofits since 2010, and serves on the Healthcare Advisory Council for the Ronald McDonald House of New York. He is not just a builder of systems, he is a builder of community, making him a sound fit when he joined DOC as an advisor last year.
Now that he’s taken the helm, Neil will lead our flagship annual gathering and guide DOC as we grow our products and services. Our foundation is strong. With Neil at the tiller, we’ll only grow stronger.
