We’re thrilled to announce that accomplished entrepreneur, executive, and investor Reid Hoffman will join us at DOC 2025 this year. Hoffman has played an integral role in building many of today’s leading consumer technology businesses including as the co-founder of LinkedIn, Inflection AI, and Manas AI, as well as an early executive at PayPal. He is also a Board Director at Microsoft.
Hoffman is a prolific investor, serving both as a partner at Greylock and as an angel investor and philanthropist. He is the host of the podcasts Masters of Scale and Possible, and the co-author of six best-selling books: The Startup of You, The Alliance, Blitzscaling, Masters of Scale, Impromptu, and Superagency: What Could Possibly Go Right with Our AI Future.
Reid has a particular affinity for and experience with AI, one of the core focal points of DOC 2025’s program. He was one of the early advisors and funders of OpenAI, and later founded Inflection AI, the founding team of which later joined Microsoft to launch Microsoft AI. Manas AI, another company Hoffman co-founded, is focused on AI-driven drug discovery. He’s an influential voice in the ongoing debate around the role of AI in society – his “interview” with his AI doppelganger was a seminal moment in the industry’s understanding of both AI’s limitations and its capabilities.
Hoffman will join us for what is certain to be a fascinating debate on the intersection of medicine and AI at DOC 2025. We are honored to have him join our DOC 2025 Faculty and welcome him to our growing DOC community!
