Special Preview: This Year’s Living Room Lab

This year’s Living Room Lab features a growing list of cutting edge diagnostics available to DOC participants. Here’s a preview of what you can expect (if you’ve not received your invitation, apply for one here):

  • Presenting partner SimonMed Imaging is offering all registrants the simonONE scan — a non-invasive, whole-body 3T MRI with FDA-cleared AI that evaluates over 100 key structures from head to pelvis, with no radiation or contrast. Each scan is read by two sub-specialized radiologists and followed by a clinical consult. For DOC participants, it’s a chance to establish a baseline, identify hidden risks, and gain actionable insights into health and longevity. A liver ultrasound diagnostic will also be available onsite.
  • As in 2024, Aetas Diagnostics will offer its suPAR test — a biomarker that reveals your level of inflammation in the body, which can give you an accurate prognosis for your current and future health. suPAR Health can tell you about your health status, disease risk, level of chronic inflammation, your biological age and whether what you are doing is working. DOC 2024 participants may request a kit ahead of DOC 2025 to be a part of a longer term cohort. In addition, Aetas will introduce a new diagnostic blood test available to participants in Napa this October.
  • Owlstone Medical, a global leader in Breath Biopsy® technology for early detection and precision medicine, has developed a breathalyzer aimed at improving outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through the early identification of diseases such as lung cancer and liver disease. The device will be available for DOC participants to experience in the Living Room Lab.
  • DOC is working with GRAIL to enable access to its Galleri multi-cancer early detection test while onsite at the event. Galleri screens for many of the deadliest cancers before they become symptomatic.
  • ŌURA, creators of the innovative smart ring that delivers personalized health insights and daily guidance, will be in the Lab showcasing their latest models and features. Exclusive discounts will be available onsite, with daily ring giveaways for DOC participants.
  • Attendees can receive $100 off the Jona gut microbiome test and AI-powered analysis for orders placed by July 31. The first 15 participants to sign up will also receive a complimentary 30-minute, on-site results review with Founder & CEO Leo Grady, Ph.D.
  • Identifeye Health offers an end-to-end platform integrating the Identifeye Camera and Portal for efficient, point-of-care fundus imaging. DOC participants can try the camera and review results with expert insights from an onsite ophthalmologist in the Living Room Lab.
  • Come meet our presenting sponsor Private Medicalwho will be at the Lab. Private Medical believes that personalized, proactive and comprehensive primary care is where good health begins. Private Medical clients connect to their doctor via email, text or phone, 24/7, and have access to an extensive network of more than 30 affiliated medical centers and 4,000 leading medical specialists in 200 cities around the world.
  • Contribute to cutting-edge research led by Dr. Kari C. Nadeau, Chair of the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Participants will receive a Microplastics Assay Kit by mail, with confidential results reviewed in a private consultation within two weeks of submitting the completed sample. The cost of each sample is ~$600 — we will ask that you please contribute to her research in any amount you can.

Once again, if you’re holding an invitation for DOC, register now to ensure your Living Room Lab benefits. And if you’d like an invite, please apply here. See you in Yountville this October!
