Lauren is Editor of DOC.health, developing and overseeing our editorial strategy across multiple media platforms. An award-winning journalist, she writes about science, education, and technology with bylines in Wired, Inc., New Scientist, Salon, USA Today and others. She won the Gerald Loeb Award for business reporting, co-founded tech site GearBrain, and writes Stay Sharp, a weekly Substack on aging and learning. A former producer for MTV, VH-1, and Comedy Central, Lauren holds master’s degrees in Journalism from UC Berkeley and Cognitive Neuroscience from CUNY, and is a Pace Foundation and Poynter Fellow.
