Welcome back to The DOCument, your connection to DOC – now just six short weeks away. In this edition, we’ll reveal the companies in our Living Room Lab, announce new partnerships, and introduce our fabulous Fellows program. Given how close we are to DOC’s inaugural edition, we’ll also remind you of some important logistics.

Before we get started, one last call: We’ve held back 15 passes to DOC, and will release them to qualified invitees over the next week or two. After that, we’re completely sold out. More than 200 of you are already registered, and we can’t wait to see you in person this Oct. 24th-26th. This is your last chance to register if you have an invitation and haven’t signed up.

Introducing The Living Room Lab

A central feature at the heart of the DOC experience, the Living Room Lab will be an inviting, comfortable lounge spotlighting a highly curated set of science-driven, early-stage healthcare companies, each focused on understanding a crucial aspect of health optimization. We’re excited to announce that we’re building out the Lab in partnership with Ultrahuman, makers of the Ring AIR, which measures your sleep, HRV, movement, and temperature, with insights to help you improve your health every day. Ultrahuman will offer DOC participants complimentary Ring AIR devices throughout the event.

DOC has qualified each company in the Living Room Lab, and thanks to Ultrahuman’s support, DOC is hosting these companies free of charge. All DOC participants will be able to meet the companies’ leaders and engage with their services. Some require advanced testing, a doctor’s prescription, and/or additional costs, which we’ll coordinate in future communications for those interested. We may still add to the Living Room Lab’s lineup, but we wanted to give you a sneak peek of who’s already confirmed:

Aetas Diagnostic

At DOC, Aetas will be offering a test that measures the body’s inflammatory response to how we live our lives and the underlying inflammation that is kicked up. Some believe this is a test that measures senescence. Many studies have been published on the utility of the suPAR inflammation test. For the geeks:

BrainKey

BrainKey offers a platform allowing individuals to gain insights into their brain health through AI-driven MRI scans and genetic data analysis. Brainkey’s technology can detect early signs of brain issues, like dementia or tumors, and provide personalized recommendations for treatments and lifestyle changes to prevent long-term damage.

Cleerly Health

Using coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) imaging, Cleerly’s platform allows physicians to accurately detect and analyze atherosclerosis (plaque buildup in the arteries) before symptoms appear. This personalized approach enhances the identification of heart disease risk and supports precise treatment strategies. Cleerly’s CEO, Dr. James Min – a member of our Faculty – will be available for consultations in the Lab.

Empower Sleep

Empower Sleep provides a comprehensive, virtual sleep care solution to diagnose and treat sleep disorders like sleep apnea and insomnia. Using FDA-approved at-home sleep tests and virtual consultations with expert sleep physicians, Empower Sleep delivers personalized treatment plans based on detailed sleep data collected via wearable devices. At DOC, Empower Sleep will highlight their sleep tracking, sleep cycle analysis, and will review diagnostics from attendees who participated in their study before the event.

Jona

Jona uses artificial intelligence to interpret human microbiome science, focusing on the connection between gut health and chronic conditions such as autoimmune diseases, GI disorders, and neurological issues. Jona’s at-home microbiome testing kit sequences the gut microbiome and provides users with a personalized, AI-generated report. This report translates complex scientific research into actionable insights related to diet, lifestyle, and health improvements.

Owlstone Medical

Owlstone Medical is pioneering noninvasive diagnostic technology through its innovative Breath Biopsy platform. By analyzing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in breath, Owlstone aims to detect early signs of diseases like cancer, liver disease, asthma, and COPD. Through early detection and precision medicine, Owlstone aims to save 100,000 lives and reduce healthcare costs by $1.5 billion. At DOC, Owlstone will provide breath biopsies on site and engage with attendees

More DOC Updates

Northern Trust, Marvin Health, StrongHer/EatReal, Solairus Join DOC

We’re pleased to announce that in addition to Ultrahuman, four additional new partners have joined DOC. Northern Trust is a leading wealth management provider specializing in helping families and family offices plan and invest their wealth for where the world is going, not where it’s been. Marvin Behavioral Health is the premier mental health service designed exclusively for physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals. Their mission is to provide caregivers with specialized, concierge-level mental health support tailored to the unique pressures of healthcare professionals. The StrongHer Collective is teaming up with our community partner EatReal to support our Fellows program (more on that below). Focused on delivering exceptional private jet charter flight services and outstanding asset optimization solutions, Solairus Aviation is raising the bar in the aircraft charter and aviation asset management industries. Welcome all!

The Program Is Live

A reminder that DOC’s inaugural program is live on our website. The program kicks off with an Oxford-style debate on aging and continues with six in-depth explorations of topics ranging from Capital and Misinformation to Oncology and Neuroscience, three lightning talks, intimate table discussions with our Faculty, participant-led breakout sessions, and some very special guests to be announced soon. Plus, there’s ample time set aside for networking. What you won’t find: Sales pitches, politics, or long-winded monologues.

At the heart of our program is our DOC Faculty, who lead our in-depth, multi-part salon-style discussions on focused topics. As we’ve highlighted before, our program is unique—any member of the DOC community can contribute. We’ve already selected some Conversants for our sessions and invite you to express your interest in joining the conversation here.

Up Next: The Fellows Program

DOC is thrilled to announce our Fellows program, which will bring an accomplished and impactful group of extraordinary women leaders to our gathering next month. Each leader represents the future of innovation in the healthcare industry and will be deeply additive to the conversation, program, and community that represent the best of DOC. DOC’s Fellow program is made possible through the support of The StrongHer Collective, EatReal, and an anonymous but very generous individual. We’ll be announcing the Fellows shortly, but to all involved – thank you!
