Women’s Health | Britney Blair, Psy.D. Joins DOC 2025 Faculty

Sleep and sex are core drivers of our well being, which is why we’re thrilled to announce that Britney Blair, Psy.D. has joined our Faculty for DOC 2025. Blair’s work and expertise also align with one of DOC’s core programming pillars in 2025: placing women at the center of conversations about health.

Dr. Blair has co-founded several companies, including Helyx Health, a medical practice that offers sleep, stress, and psychiatric support, and Lover, a digital platform and app dedicated to helping people “resolve their sexual problems and optimize sexual wellness.” Lover was accepted into the FDA’s Safe Technologies Program (SteP) in 2022.

Blair’s focus on sexual health began as a doctoral student in clinical psychology at PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. She has published research educating healthcare professionals about female sexual health and has been a constant advocate for women in business, including a focus on the funding inequalities they face as founders. She believes having more women involved in companies and “speaking to a woman’s experience” can open the doors to new perspectives, one of our core tenets for 2025, as she said in this 2021 interview

Blair is often quoted on mental health topics, including sleep. She serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in sleep medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine and is board-certified in behavioral sleep medicine and sex therapy.

We’re honored Dr. Blair will be joining our Doc 2025 Faculty, including Dr. Jennifer Garrison, profiled last week. Please join us in welcoming Britney to the DOC community!
