After pouring your creativity, energy, and bandwidth into building the experience that is DOC, you need a moment to process the meaning behind it.
This year, a powerhouse of researchers, physicians, entrepreneurs, investors, and changemakers came together around a shared belief — that collective experience, compassion, and wisdom can cut through the noise in healthcare and wellness to reveal our true north: science.
That belief is the foundation of our ethos, Truth in Medicine, and it’s what makes me proud to be part of the DOC community and movement.
Unlike most healthcare conferences, DOC isn’t about branding or expo booths. It’s about a shared conviction that evidence, data, and human connection belong at the center of healthcare.
And a key ingredient in standing up the caliber of content and execution that defines DOC is the like-minded partners who make the experience possible.
Each brought something meaningful — not simply as an underwriter, but withe substance. Here’s a small glimpse into the impact they created this year:
John Hancock — Brooks Tingle, John Hancock’s CEO, in his 1:1 interview with Dr. Jordan Shlain, demonstrated that a financial services company can be a true leader in proactive, preventive healthcare, proving that even actuaries can drive longer, healthier outcomes.
Oura — Dr. Ricky Bloomfield, Oura’s Chief Medical Officer, illustrated how wearables are closing the gap between personal insight and medical intervention. He shared stories of health scares prevented, and a vision for integrating continuous biometric data into everyday clinical care.
SimonMed — SimonMed demonstrated how advanced imaging can unlock whole health. Through thoughtful discussion led by Dr. Sean Raj and Dr. Rakesh Patel, the two revealed how AI and innovation are making preventive screening more powerful and affordable, then extended that opportunity to the DOC community with complimentary full-body MRIs and liver ultrasounds.
Technogym — By bringing “movement as medicine” to life through both insight and action,Technogym’s Check Up diagnostic allowed participants to walk away with a personalized wellness score. Dr. Andrew Mock’s thoughtful session then underscored how essential exercise is to preventive health—and yes, even included a round of squats to drive the point home!
Private Medical — Dr. David Popiel, Private Medical’s CMO, and Dr. Natalie Walsh conveyedhow maintaining health in older age requires intention, prevention, and evidence-based care to stay active and mentally sharp, including ensuring our supplements are safe, certified, and truly necessary.
Anthropic — Supporting our integration of AI to enhance our programming, Anthropic (and CPO Mike Krieger) helped us integrate intelligent agents into our live debate. (And we might be the first gathering to do so!)
Eat Real — Nora LaTorre shared the impact of Eat Real, transforming cafeteria food into nutrient-dense, delicious meals for nearly one million kids, and growing every day.
Alongside innovators advancing women’s health, prevention, and longevity, each partner didn’t just support DOC — they amplified its purpose.
Together, they made the conversations richer, the experiences deeper, and the mission to scale great science more tangible.
To every partner who invested not only in this event but in the dialogue shaping the future of health — thank you. Your belief, creativity, and collaboration made this possible. Here’s to continuing to build what’s next, together.
